Should You Lie in Your Advertising Or Tell The Truth?

Do you remember the movie “Crazy “People?”. The movie starred Dudley Moore who was a guy in advertising. Dudley’s character wanted to tell the world the truth through his advertising slogans.

Sone of his most memorable slogans are;

“Drink Metamucil And You Won’t Die”
“Volvo – there boxie but their good”
“Drive a Jaguar and you’ll get a …..” – you get the drift.

His bosses wanted to put him in the nut house for speaking the truth.

I wonder what they would have done with the guy who did this?
